Located on Addison between Acton and Bonar.

The best way to enter the school is through the glass double doors on the outside of the building that face Strawberry Creek Park. The building is on the West side of the park, the last unit on the right side of the path before the stream.

By Car

From Hwy 80 in Berkeley: Take the University Ave. exit and drive east on University. Turn onto Bonar Street and drive 1 block. Take a left onto Addison Street. Parking is available on the street.

Public Transit

Take the BART to North Berkeley Station. Walk 2 blocks South on Sacramento avenue, cross University Avenue and continue to Addison street. The school is 2 blocks west of Sacramento.

What hours is Berkeley Herbal Center open for herb pickups and walk ins?

We are open for pickups and walk ins on Mondays from 10-6, Tuesdays 11-3, Thursdays 11-3, Fridays 11-3 and the first Saturday of the month from 10-5. If you need to arrange pickup outside of these hours or are interested in touring our facilities please email info@berkeleyherbalcenter.org.

Does Berkeley Herbal Center Sell Herbs To The Public?

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and our apothecary has limited capacity. We craft affordable plant medicine to support our community clinic. To purchase herbs from Berkeley Herbal Center you must be actively working with one of our student or faculty clinicians. If you are a past client of Berkeley Herbal Center and your student practitioner has graduated, you must make an appointment with a current student practitioner to receive extracts, salves, etc. We do not refill formulas crafted by past students practitioners. We appreciate your understanding of our dispensary policy.
 

What Kind Of Herbal Medicine Does Berkeley Herbal Center Administer?

We use a wide variety of therapeutic medicinal plants. We primarily focus on western herbs and native California-grown plants
 

Does Berkeley Herbal Center offer scholarships?

We are unable to offer scholarships for 2023-2024.

Berkeley Herbal Center now offers virtual or phone clinic appointments!

You can choose an appointment with our hand-picked first and second year student clinicians, along with the faculty members of our school.
