An Introduction to Herbalism – January

This 4-part herbalism course is for beginners who want to bring herbs into their everyday life. In this class you’ll gain knowledge about many facets of herbs and herbal medicine. You will learn basic human physiology and how to use herbs to support common conditions that happen within each body system. You’ll also learn how to prepare a number of herbal remedies, including herbal extracts, salves, lotions, syrups and teas. Finally, the class includes a walk in a local natural area where you’ll get to meet the medicinal plants that grow around us.
Dates: Wednesdays, January 25th, February 1st, 8th, and 15th
Time: 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm
Herb Walk: Sunday, February 12th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
